Hi. Iโve been looking for a walk in the temperate rainforest and I stumbled across your site this morning. Itโs really informative and I appreciate the time it must take to record and upload all of this detail. Thanks again! โบ๏ธ

Hi Andrew, I've been meaning to message for quite some time in appreciation for your work, and now with some quiet time around Easter I can finally get around to it!
For the past couple fo years, we have been using the list of Wainwrights as an encouragement to get out and explore more of the Lakes. Your website has become my first port of call EVERY TIME I'm feeling inspired to look for a good walk. I really appreciate all the hard work you've put in to making it the superb resource it is. It's full of useful and clear information, and looks fantastic. Your wonderful photos really do enhance the walk even before it's begun and are a real driving force in getting out and starting the adventure.
I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery and look forward to more stunning content as you're able. ๐

Hi Andrew,
I have just stumbled upon your website which is amazingly helpful to someone like me who is just setting about on a journey of discovery. The lake district has basically been on my doorstep for 52 years and it's only now that I have realised the joy that walking can bring. Your detailed walks are amazingly detailed and the links to OS are brilliant for a novice. Thank you so much for the effort you have gone to with your website, and I hope you have a speedy recovery ๐

I just wanted to say how I was taken in by your photos of Yorkshire. The walks in the Lake District just captured my heart and I was spellbound like a little girl with all the beauty and majesty of the country.
My brother used to live in the Lake District and unfortunately didn't get a chance to see all of it's beauty, but what I did see I truly loved. Thank you for all of your work, pictures and generosity in sharing all of this beauty with others. You started my day off in the best way possible, I will be saving your Webpage to my favourites for sure.
Linda.

I was viewing your twitter account and thought the mountain shaped mist over Crummock Water could be categorized as a Dodd of Mist, having recently learnt the definition of Dodd, โa round protuberanceโ

Hi Andrew,
I just spent a week in the lakes and came across your excellent site. Walked yesterday to Hayeswater Lake, with a side trip up the knoll. Cold, frosty, icy but stunning spot to walk.
Just wanted to say, thanks for putting this together. Beautiful photos.

Hi Andrew, Just to say what a lovely walk to High Rigg through St J in the Vale. Intimate, quiet, gentle. The pines' capitulation to "The Beast ..." so sad but redolent of nature. Thanks again for your wonderful mapping of nature and stirring of happy memories on the fells. xx

Hi Andrew, hope you are well. Still love to follow your walks, many a great photo and memories for me. Love looking at the ones of Corner House and High Lorton, absolute fantastic treasured memories of those times.
Keep enjoying life and let the rest of us watch in envy. All the best my friend.

Hi Andrew, Just want to say a huge thank you for your superb photographs and videos which bring back many happy memories of traversing the fells. I particularly love your pics of Buttermere, Crummock Water and surrounding fells. Melbreak has been a revelation, a stalwart sentinel. A lot of people gain so much pleasure and satisfaction from your work. It seems to be a labour born out of love and it shines through every picture. x

Hi Andrew! My boyfriend and I were having a nightmare 6-year anniversary when our car broke down on our way to Scafell Pike before we could even start our hike! Thankfully a helpful engineer, new tyre, and lots of time spent on your website browsing, the day was saved! We had just enough time in the afternoon for a short walk and although didnโt do the half marathon we were hoping to, we did complete your Friars Crag walk and had the most beautiful time, thank you for your content, photos, and charisma! We will be following your walks with great interest
Love,
Nic and Eva
