Hi Andrew, I have been following your walks for a number of of years now, and thought it high time I left a review to say 'thank you' so much for all the help and expertise you have provided to me over the years. I use your website in conjunction with the seven Wainwright books and an OS Maps subscription...I find it a perfect combination to plan my walks in The Lake District. Your practical advice on start points, route links to download offline OS maps, and practical tips on each routes are invaluable. On Sunday (in beautiful weather) I climbed Great Gable (from Honister), and would have found it much more difficult to pick out the route off the rocky summit without your advice. On Monday (in even better weather), I climbed Bow Fell up The Band from Old Dungeon Ghyll...again, on the way down, your advice to avoid Rosset Ghyll and follow the 'Old Pony Route' was much of so much help...and I agree that it would have been a very talented and courageous pony to follow that descent! I hugely appreciate all the selfless documenting of your walks and sharing of walking advice. I recommend your website at every possible opportunity, and now follow you on Instagram and will start to look at your walks abroad (my wife and I will visit Canada for the first time next year). Many, many, thanks, Dave.
