Thank you Andrew for writing such detailed walks. I just found your website today and read the High Street walk. Such wonderful photos, and such a wonderful commentary. It was as if I was walking there myself. What triggered the search was last night just before sleep I read a big book by Wainwright containing 18 of his walks. And the first walk was High Street. I never heard a fell called High Street, and a lake called Haweswater so I looked up on Google Map. And it turns out to be on the south east of Ullswater. Wonderful. So when I woke up this morning I searched High Street and found your website! Then I looked the Maps Overview and clicked one yellow balloon randomly. It was Castle Crag. Again I didn't know where Castle Crag is so I looked it up. It turns out to be just on the south of Derwent Water. And I followed your walk and it was wonderful. As if I was there myself. Every picture, every turn has a comment. Every river, every waterfall and ever so nice views on the mountain tops. What a wonderful journey. I can't go to Lake District today as I'm in Cambridge and have to go to office, but reading your pages is a wonderful wonderful substitute. Really made my day. Thank you Andrew.
