I moved up to Cumbria with my boyfriend at the beginning of March last year from London as the pandemic was hitting to live with my mum. We'd been spending the odd weekend in Cumbria before that but we've now been up here for a full year.

We started following your routes last summer in the Lake District and downloaded the OS app soon after. In November, we found a glorious route of yours along the ridge to the west of Buttermere and it was half way up the pretty steep ascent that we got engaged!

This year, we've become totally hooked! Every weekend, we find an Andrew's Walks route and either on Saturday or Sunday we go Wainwright bagging. We reached our half century last weekend and just love it!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the energy, detail, photos and maps you add to each of your routes. We have both fallen in love with walking in the Lake District and so much of this is thanks to you!
