Hi
Just found your Kirk Fell walk/scramble. I was trying to find out if it was an official scrambling route as I went that way myself. Your description pretty well summed it up. I too had a debate of reversing or continuing hoping I didn't stuck if it got harder! The gully wasn't nice but even though a 'one mistake and it's bye bye world' scramble out it was actually good scramble. It just needs to be somewhere other than above that gully! I too was glad to be out with a bit of jelly legs!
