This site is simply brilliant! I wish I had discovered your page years ago. It's been a pleasure browsing through all the excellent photos. My parents are based in the lakes and we're always looking for new walks and have found guidebooks a little tedious.. the photos and gpx files are a total game changer for planning new routes and areas to explore! Thanks for sharing

Hi Andrew,
My boyfriend Ashtey and I followed your walk in Corfu from Kaminaki to Kerasia yesterday and had the most wonderful time. The coastal route made for a perfect day stopping off at the beautiful beaches you photographed and having a bite to eat at the Durrels White House. We also explored from Kaminaki to Nissaki beach, which involved a bit more rock climbing but was a great route also. Thank you so much for the recommendation, we hope to come to the Lake District soon so will be sure to follow one of your walks. Keep up the great work! Georgie

Thanks for the beautiful photos from Beverley Westwood. I posted one photo to my family group on facebook and provided the link for members to enjoy more of them. Our Grandpa Bilton was born a block from Beverley Westwood in 1884. Now we can understand the reasons why in Canada, he might have let a little field go to daisies and buttercups when he retired.

Hope you enjoyed your visit to the Kingdom of Northumbria as much as I enjoyed your pics. As a North Northumbrian it is good to see someone displaying England's most northern county for all to see. Best wishes Peter.

Hey Andrew! LOVE all your photos!!! We will be hiking the Lechweg in Austria (staying in Oberlech) at the end of August 2019. Your photos were wonderful to go through to get an idea of what we will be seeing. Especially helpful was the info about Gehren Ridge and 'Sea of Stones'. Not sure we want to tackle that - after all, we are from Flat Florida! Haha! ๐
We have not been to England yet - it is on the list! I look forward to referencing your other walks for our future adventures. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Andrew
I just chanced upon your website having Googled "Seahouses". I was only looking for tips on possible walks but as a keen photographer I have to say your photos are fantastic. You have inspired me. I can't wait to get to Seahouses now ! My favourite destination is normally the Lakes so I see you have more to offer ...

Hi Andrew. Lovely to see your Majorca trip photos. We spent last week in Biniaraix/Soller where I see you were in 9/15. We covered a lot of the same ground including a walk to Deia and 2 trips up the Barranc at Biniaraix , on the second occasion to the summit of L'Ofre.
Birding highlights were 3 glimpses of a golden oriole and time watching and listening to a rather extrovert nightingale at L'Ofre.
Keep up the good work , best wishes, Ian

Thanks for your blog and its wonderful photographs.
I โstumbledโ across your blog this week - Iโm doing my annual walking week based in Soller, Majorca.
You mention some navigational issues on the G221 walk from Soller across to Deia. When the path meets the main road east of Deia you do unfortunately have to follow the road for about a third of a mile before the path peels off on a left hand bend. Not ideal. The delightful path then loses height before reaching the lane coming up from the cove, where you can either carrry on for Deia or turn right for the coast. You should not go on the cliff top path.
Today I returned to Soller via the coast path. Some sections are a little exposed or difficult but it is generally a delightful second leg to a wonderful circular walk.
Paul

Hello Andrew and Gilly. I have been catching up on all your walks since Switzerland and have come to the conclusion that despite the popularity of well known TV travel programmes which dip in and out of a journey for me they take second place to the quality and information your brilliant web site offers followers. We have time to enjoy your pictorial memories at leisure and give some time to absorbing the beauty of the scenery you offer I learn more and more about these walks and on my large screen PC they are stunning. Thankyou.
Peter.
