I just found your website while browsing tonightโฆand just wanted to thank you for it. A great combination of walk descriptions with photos. Weโre just back from a week or so walking in the Lake District and your photos have both reinforced happy memories and given us ideas for our next visitโฆ We tend to stick to familiar walks but you have inspired us to try some new ones! Iโve shared the link with friends who also visit the Lake District regularlyโฆ
Thank you and do keep sharing these routes and photos!

Thank you for sharing photos. I am tracing my family history, and I have ancestors who lived at Marske. I live in Australia, so viewing the images, and hearing of your walk is very interesting to me, and made me feel like I was there. Thanks so much

Just a quick word to say thank you for the great walks you show in your blog. My wife and I found your page last week as we were in the Pig in Brockenhurst and were looking for a nice walk to do. We followed your walk from the Pig which we really enjoyed. I will use your walk again in the future, thanks for your brilliant work!

Really enjoying your pics. reminds me of the holiday my wife and I loved in the Stelvio Pass region and in the area around the Westendorf region in Austria many years ago. I shall be 80 in November this year and long walks are no longer on the agenda but it is a pleasure to view your walks abroad with Gilly in the most beautiful countries. Long may you continue to do so and thanks for sharing these memories

I just wanted to thank you again (we corresponded briefly around the time you revamped your walking site) for your website. It has been invaluable to us. We are in the Lakes again (from Montreal) and have drawn much inspiration on a daily basis from your extensive database of rambles. So clear, with such ravishing photographs

Hi, my name is Mark and I just wanted to say what a fantastic website andrews walks is. It has been an invaluable research tool in planning my walks, along with the Wainwright guides. Your site is easy to navigate and how you have segmented your walks into different categories is so helpful. I look forward to seeing more of your walks in the future. Keep up the good work.

Very pleased to come across your website, which I did by chance today. I used to look at one by Andrew Leaney, but that's now gone. Your photos are better, by far and it's a joy to scroll through them. I walk when I am able to. Though I have lots of photos of the Lakes, they're certainly not as good as yours. Clearly you have a great skill.

Pavey Ark & Jack's Rake brought back memories - of a monk from Quernmore Priory going up it in Winter & telling me to make my own way (as a 14 yr old) to Harrison Stickle. When he met up with me he was ashen faced - "never again" - he said. In the Summer of 1970 I was camping in the Langdales. I was now a wise 17 yr old so off I went up Jack's Rake. Great memories. Thanks for your photo record - much appreciated.
