Pavey Ark & Jack's Rake brought back memories - of a monk from Quernmore Priory going up it in Winter & telling me to make my own way (as a 14 yr old) to Harrison Stickle. When he met up with me he was ashen faced - "never again" - he said. In the Summer of 1970 I was camping in the Langdales. I was now a wise 17 yr old so off I went up Jack's Rake. Great memories. Thanks for your photo record - much appreciated.
