Hi Andrew, I stumbled upon your web page just before our trip to Lorton for new year and was glad I did!, I tried several of your walks, including Brackenthwaite Hows, which I've passed below in the woods several times and didn't even know it was there. Suffice it to say we did it on a very blustery day and had it to ourselves, but the views were worth it.
I've just seen your entry from January 1st 2020, when my wife, dog and I were on the Fellbarrow/Low Fell ridge. The view over the valley, down over Crummock Water and Buttermere and over to Loweswater, (as shown by you in the picture above) are probably one of the best in the lakes and are (so far) relatively undiscovered.
Thanks for all your walking ideas, I'll look at wading through as many as I can when I'm in the area and may even bump into you at some point!
Keep up the good work,
Ian h.
