This page contains links to my Top 10 Walks in twelve different and varied categories, ranging from Cities and Towns to Mountains and Valleys

The list is subjective and is based on my personal experience at the time. Numerous factors including light and weather play a major part – even the most beautiful scenery can appear dull on a rainy overcast day.

All the featured Top 10 Walks contain something which was special to me on the day – it may have been a wildlife sighting, reflections in a lake or the view from a lakeland summit. One never knows what to expect an a walk, which is half the enjoyment. These are the adventures which have given me some of my best memories
