Route: Circuit of Derwent Water
Area: North Western Lake District
Date of walk: 4th January 2013

Ascent: 1,400 feet
We parked at Nichol End Marina and went round Derwent Water anti-clockwise. Just before the Borrowdale Hotel we headed uphill to join a long terraced path with great views over the lake.
The path took us to Ashness Bridge. We then made our way back through Keswick, past the Theatre by the Lake and Booths. We crossed the pedestrian suspension bridge and walked along the quiet road back to Nichol End
