Garden Diary

Welcome to my garden ‘lockdown diary’, which records photos of wildlife sightings in our garden, as well as the unfurling and growth of the flowers, shrubs and trees. I started the diary on 23rd March 2020, the day when lockdown was imposed on account of the Covid-19 outbreak, and I ended it in July when the rules were relaxed and it became possible to go out walking again

One of the few benefits to emerge from this worldwide crisis is that it gave us time to pause and reflect on the natural world, and to enjoy sights which we would easily have missed in normal times
